Add a Gmail Account - Samsung DROID Charge SCH-I510

1. From the home screen, select Applications.
   
2. Select Settings.
   
3. Select Accounts & sync.
   
4. Select Add account.
   
5. Select Google.
   
6. Select Next.
   
7. Select one of the following options:
   
   • Create
   • Sign in
   
   

Create a Google Account

1. Enter the following information then select Next.
   
   • First name
   • Last name
   • Username
   
   
2. From the Type a password and Confirm password fields, enter a password then select Next.
   The password must be at least 8 characters.
   
3. Enter the appropriate information into the following fields then select Create.
   
   • Security question
     
     • Favorite food?
     • City of birth?
     • Best childhood friend's name?
     • Highschool name?
     
     
   • Answer
   • Secondary Email
   
   
4. Review the Google Terms of Service then select I agree, Next to continue creating the account.
   
5. Enter the appropriate characters then select Next.
   The characters that appear in the following image are only an example.
   
6. Configure the following setting then select Next.
   Enabled when a orange checkmark is present.
   
   • Back up data with my Google Account.
   
   
7. Select Finish setup.

Sign in to an existing Google Account

1. Enter the following information then select Sign in.
   
   • Username
   • Password
   
   
2. If presented, configure Data & synchronization settings as appropriate, select Finish then skip to step 4.
   If not presented, skip to step 3.
   
3. If presented, configure the following setting then select Next.
   Enabled when a green checkmark is present.
   
   • Back up data with my Google Account.
   
   
4. Select Finish setup.
