    Rooting the Droid Charge

    I just updated the Charge to 2.3.6 Ep4. Can I use z4root? Trying to avoid odin. Thanks.

    No you cannot use z4....Odin is the best way to go. Your only other option is Samsung's Flashing Utility but imo it's a pain to install and Odin does the same exact thing.

    can you please post a link i found a youtube page that walked me thru but when it came to applyin the Voodoo file my droid flashed something and then it stayed with the yellow !.
    i need to root so i can use some apps for work.
    I appreciate any help available.

    Ok. after i root will is it a factory rom with root? Or just a file that gives me root??
