Just purchased, safe to update?

yes im on EE4, you saw the pic right?
i cant positively say what update is waiting on your phone, the last one is EE4 that i know and yes it can be rooted + cwm. one thing about cwm, you cant do backups with it and some kernels have that option removed for safety. either way, dont try it. all other features work fine.

My bad if I wasn't clear in my other post but the update is EE4 that
was waiting...so I updated to it, and already the phone is noticeably faster, and the web browser renders much faster.

I've disabled the lock screen using those secret codes
you input into the dialer and unfortunately I've read about CWR
not fully working (hence the new yellow version) without the option to backup full ROMS...

I feel all newbish again not knowing exactly what to do!

everything is here {List} Roms/Kernels/Mods/Themes 6.29.11 - xda-developers including tutorials
i prefer the danalo version its all in one, if you dont like the rom later you can flash over it easy and still have lagfix and root, there in the kernel
