The droid charge doesnt have a locked bootloader tho does it?
When I had my Droid Eris I had a Verizon Rep in the store tell me to root it and overclock it when I complained about speed. lol
I think it depends on the Rep. Most that are android fan boys and spend their money to getting the latest and greatest are probably cool with rooting. It's the exec types that want to kiss vendor behind that probably make noise about rooting.

In store root, your juevos dropped early my friend, 5 kudos for you, -5 for anyone who hated on you, I dropped a z4 root when I purchased my original X about 20 minutes before I bought it, so I know how you feel, If I'm paying that much money for something, I wanna know what I'm getting
