Anyone try this voodoo kernel for charge?

I just installed the voodoo kernel and now have root and ext filesystem! Went through the first time. I was paranoid for nothing, lol. Quadrant now 1575 and phone is more responsive!

I got ~1000 in quadrant with the non voodoo kernel.

I went to the voodoo kernel and with the EXT4 FS, I tested at 1704! WHoohooo!

There are a lot of users who have made a simple yet fateful error. Do not attempt to use CWM Recovery in an attempt to restore your Charge if you are running the Voodoo kernel. If you do, it will royally mess your phone and there is no current way to fix it. Hard lesson learned.

It has been suggested that you use Titanium Backup for system backup/restore for now until CWM Recovery is further tweaked.

Now that I got my phone back from fubar state I can flash the voodoo kernel and not make the same error twice.

Totally agree! I blew mine up last week and spent two days in recovery process. Now the only problem I have is that I cannot re-flash voodoo lagfix. Usually when I try to I have to do a soft reset to recover. I have checked quad scores and they are in the mid-900s. Before the crash I was around 1400. Anybody know how I can re-flash voodoo and have it work?

So I shouldn't try to update to PBJ from CWR voodoo? How can I get PBJ on my phone then?

CWM is not a kernel and has nothing to do with voodoo.
install the pbj kernel according to the developers recommendations.

We now have a working backup/restore with CWM.

Although I might add CWM v4.0.0.8 (the blue one) was working great for me. I had no issues with backups and restores.

I liked it.. for a while. I started getting the "unrecognized battery" when I charged my phone while running that kernel. I would have to unplug my phone and plug it back in a couple times for it to not do that.

As of right now, I'm running GummyCharged 1.9.1 w/ PBJT overclocked/undervolted kernel @1200mhz. Been off the charger for 8 hrs, 15 mins, been using my phone heavily today (mostly on wi-fi) and I'm still at 71% battery.

Can anyone verify the Voodoo Lagfix kernel for charge works with Gingerbread EP1W *Leak* rom. I currently have the Charge w/ EP1W rom installed. I am rooted, have everything backed up via Titanium backup, and have CWM recovery installed via Odin. I am chomping at the bit to go to Lagfix and EXT4 file system. If this will work -- any tips to ensure I do not fubar my phone??

Also -- I have V6_Supercharger script installed with Busybox and ScriptManager. Any issues with having the V6 script applied and incorporating the Voodoo Lagfix kernel????

you cant use the ee4 version of voodoo, look on rootzwiki for the ext4 for gingerbread. im not sure what will happen with v6 when you flash the new kernel, sorry

I'm currently running the TSM/imnuts TW4 Themed EP1W Rom w/ imoseyons voodoo lagfix kernel (an older version 2.0.6) and everything is running great. Also have the V6 SuperCharger script enabled.
