So I've heard the Droid Charge has already been rooted using Z4Root.. It's always nice to see a device rooted before the official release!

All froyo phones can be rooted using z4root. It's such a general exploit, which is what makes it so great, and if it doesn't work, use SuperOneClick with psneuter.

Actually, they do have a section on XDA for the Charge. It's under Verizon Droid Charge. I originally was looking for Samsung Droid Charge and Droid Charge.
