notification volume

Maybe somebody can help me out with this 1.
before update the notification volume would adjust with the master volume allowing me to turn down the notification volume without going into the volume settings to make adjustments.
Now the only way I can adjust notification volume is in the volume settings.
Is this a specific problem to my phone? If not, is there a short cut around this to allow me to adjust volume without going into settings?

No not a problem with your phone.
This is the way it is in ICS.
Hopefully it will get changed back in an update later.
