Bionic Announces "Verizon Wireless" On Startup/"Loss Of Service" On Shutdown-???

Greetings to the list,

Starting yesterday, my Bionic now announces "Verizon Wireless" on startup and "Loss Of Service" on powering off. I've been through settings 3 times and do not see a toggle for this. Can anyone tell me where to toggle these announcements to "off"?

what version is on your phone?

I figured it out- I had selected 'Roaming Notification' which led to those announcements. Problem solved.
