Car Dock

I've tried posting this else where and gotten no luck. Lets try tech support. How can i disable the auto tex read out in the car dock mode. Preferably without rooting unless there's an sbf. BTW im on the 5.5.893 ota.

I would like to know as well. Half the time the car dock doesn't recognize the phone. I would like all of the dock features not to turn on at all. I think I would be better off with using the voice commands .

So I went a tried out every car dock app out there, short of rooting. I finally stumbled upon the solution. This is right up your ally as I don't like the car dock at all. Go to andriod market. Download Disable Car Home. I installed this and...perfect. I put the bionic into the dock now and it goes into landscape mode and the car dock dosen't launch. It's like running the phone in your hand except in landscape and charging in the dock. Hope this helps.

I found that after docking several times, the warning message stopped on it's own. I had to do a factory reset, to clear up some non-related issues and the warning started again. It has since disappeared again....on it's own. Now, if the built in one in my Subaru would just go away!
