Get text message, see notification, open message app, and its gone?

Just like the title says. Just got this thing for work a week ago. I thought it was just my imagination but it keeps happening a few times a day. Get a text, hear/see the notification (with the preview of what was said), pull down the bar and see who its from, tap it, and it shoes the conversation without the newest message.

i just confirmed it does the same thing with handscent and the stock app disabled.

also, i set the message limit to 50 instead of 200, and the next text message i sent was to a coworker, and i typed "whats the plan", hit send, and it showed i had sent him a completely different text i send someone else previously. when i typed up an explanation and hit send, it changed to the correct message. what the hell

Hi, just bought a Razr and im having the exact same problem..... has anyone found a solution for this??
Please help switched to droid from a blackberry and so far im already having problems. If anyone finds
a way to fix thos other than going inside a verizon store let me know. Thanks.
