    Do I need a moded ROM

    I have rooted my Bionic primarily to remove the software that is not removable. I have an issue with being told I have to have something on there that I do not use. I do use the WiFi tether rarely, but want to know if I need to have a moded ROM or if I need to do anything more than the root process and superuser access.
