Thnx.. I am trying to find the files through hob? On another site too but me thinks iz a bit confusing... tech I can handle... signing up for several confusing forums and sorting through is a pain.

That is who i looked up first... all the links are so confusing i wasn't sure what to grab and all the ones i tried were dead links. Thanks so much for all your help... there is so much talk and clutter on the subject I can't sort through it all.

I'm not 100% sure what you've tried..looks like the file you were linked before was for .905 And I'm guessing the HoB is what you were referring to as confusing...this is a link to .232...the last version of ICS
that will allow for downgrading to .905 since it sounds like you are hoping to be able to get OTA instead of running HoB.

To apply any of the ICS leaks
!! WARNING: ONLY PROCEED WITH FULLY CHARGED BATTERY !!
1.) You must start with stock, unmodified 5.9.905 system. (Rooted is ok).
2.) Download the update onto your external sd-card.
3.) Power down your phone.
4.) Hold down both volume buttons, then press power button.
5.) Select recovery by pressing volume down then volume up.
6.) At the fancy logo press both volume buttons.
7.) Select "apply update" and then select the file downloaded in step 1 (Use vol up/down to navigate and power to select).
8.) Reboot.
