I wanted to let you know that I Have been able to install 247 on my Bionic without hassle or strife. I have been "lurking" in the shadows, watching, and learning. I have been updating my phones from Omnia to DX to Bionic, and have successfully been able to install ROM's, root, hack, and generally make the phone do what it was intended to do.

I'll get up in a couple hours and finish working on 7.8. I lied when I said it won't have functional changes. I'm adding one new feature for my rsd challenged users. We'll see if it ends up helping you or not. But even when I get up to work on it I may be another couple hours getting it done. It's an almost complete rewrite of the script and I haven't gotten it back together yet. I think it's pretty close though. Hopefully we'll be able to get you up and running again.

I'm still working on it. It's a VERY big update. Much more involved than I thought it'd be. I'm getting there though.

Not sure if this has been asked or considered. Can thread names be changed? I would think the vast majority of folks using this now aren't returning to .905 (902) anymore.

Or am I just having a brain fart?

Just did some research for you guys. There's another trick you can try. Untick the USB debugging to turn it OFF, wait for windows to notice, then turn it back on and see if ADB can see it. Once ADB sees it from the command line I posted, you should be able to root it.

Thanks Sam. I am going to go through all the recommendations again along with some other ideas I have. I will post what steps i try and whether it works or not to hopefully help anyone that has this issue. It will be a little bit b/c I have to get through my honey-do list first
