So, when you get to the "Updating Media Database" portion of the install, the length of time that it takes is a function of how many mp3's you have? I suspected this was the case, and deleted all of my music files off my SD card before I updated again. I'd rather re-sync them than sit there sweating over whether or not my upgrade was going right or not.
As a matter of fact, I was just re-syncing my music files tonight after moving up to 246 from 232. Then I read where 247 was out. Just damn!
I think what I'll probably do is use another SD card just to go up to 247. Then I can just put my regular SD card back in, right? Or does each software version need to "see" all of those music files sync, or scan them when it installs?
This is turning into a real PITA all over again.![]()
