So apologies to delasangre - a reading error on my part. Happens too often to me, but I have a lot of stuff to read/little time to do so these days. I was having trouble with messages about failure to move files, overwriting folders, etc when I first ran the HOB and components.

Finally got it set up and it ran fine and without problems.

Thanks, Sam and all who tolerated my questions. I will try better to keep up in the future.

Its perfectly fine, again I wasn't trying to be rude, just trying to help. Even I was called out for not reading something. I am glad you got it going, and Sam does amazing work! I think I am going to take the leap up to .246 tonight.

I don't mind...really. But it helps when I post information that people read it so I don't have to repeat it over...and over.....and over......and over.....So if I get frustrated, you should understand why and not get offended.

I guess it wasn't meant to be. Installed 7.2, still won't create boot.img, unless its me, but i followed all the steps.


Found new update: 246

I do have a 246 folder with the update in there, so i have no idea why it don't work. I know we already have the installer for 246, just thought I would try it and see if it would work.

yeah, it was definately me. I deleted the entire house of bionic folder. Installed 7.2, components, and created a 246 folder, dropped the update file in there and it created the boot.img for me. Thanks!!!! P.S. Why waste your time making a new installer for a leak when you have practically given us a amazing self working script??!!!!

Because not everyone can do that and I also include the recovery img which requires a rooted phone to pull once the update has installed correctly. The recovery img is used as part of the REINSTALL option if it's there. Plus, people know EXACTLY what they're downloading if they get it from me.
