I scrolled through but did not see anything about this. I'm on 242 and made a nanodroid backup on 232. What would happen if one was to restore the backup on 242?

Not recommended. Would it "work"? Probably. But, it could just as easily cause MASSIVE problems. Definitely don't do it.
Another satisfied HOB user, up to .242 leak now. Running smooth! Can't thank you enough Samuri!
Excellent!

Without having reread the entire thread I'm gonna ask a question that you've probably answered 50x already ( my apologies in advance). To move from .232 to .242 all I need to do is update my HOB.exe to the new HOB with .242 support ? Or is there more to it ?
Read the op and download the 242 support installer.

I was on stock 232 since it was released. 232 was very solid for me other than just a few querky things.
As for the "instant power off when answering a call", like I said it was very random and only happened a few times. I don't think it was contacts/call logs, etc... as I had many many calls from the same contacts that worked fine. Also, I'm not saying 232 was the problem. It was probably just my install, sun spots, ghosts, but a re-install was on my list to try and fix it and rather than re-install 232, I figured I would take a chance on 242.
So what I ended up doing was pushing the update zip (.242) manually to my sd card then skipped step 1 and started the hob at step 2 and then proceeded down the list . Everything went fine until the last step of repairing the AP fastboot . It said the files weren't there . I tried it twice then exited the program . The phone seems fine I'm now running .242 and all previous data and settings are there. Do I need to go back in and complete the last step? If so where do I find the missing files. I've got a feeling that has something to do with manually pushing the update zip.
