never mind i got it fixed one i used diff script it bricked cell two battery was low to low to flash hada rig wires to battery then i used samurihl script and its running update as we speak thanks for script and trying to help.

ya your script saved the day ...i used mattlgroff script and it bricked cell then i couldnt get outa it because you cant charge cell in fastflash so it failed flashing on your script ...i cut usb cable used red n black wires put it to battery to charge then just used yours bang im back man ur a lifesaver. now im sure i have a fall back in case phone fails im happy ...one question tho when a new leak is released how do i go aout installing that using this script?

The script will be updated for the new update if/when one is released. You'll just install a patch to the HoB and the new options will be exposed to you.

Yea, the HoB is all about ease of use. There's some definite work that has to be done on my end to get a patch out, but, I have tools to help me automate a lot of it so if/when a new update drops, about an hour or so after I get my hands on it the HoB will be updated to support it.

I spent a few days reading this thread from the beginning and didn't see any post matching my setup so I just want to verify.

Running 5.9.905.XT875 which I got to from OTA updates.
I'm rooted with SuperUser, Voodoo OTA and have SafeStrap installed.
Other than that I think I'm pretty much stock.

I want to stick with .232 at this point.

I'm downloading 2.1 and components 1.0 from the OP as we speak.

Since I'm not going from ICS to ICS or coming from any other leak, I'm not sure what path or options to take?

I know to uninstall safestrap, which I plan on doing.

Do I also need to unroot?


Now let's say things go bad or I just don't like ICS for whatever reason. I have a nandroid backup from safestrap and I have a full backup using TiBu. Could I use this script to FXZ back to 905 and stop at that point, then re-root and install safestrap, then recover to the point I have my GB backup? Then using TiBu restore all my apps, data etc?

INSTALL 232 option on the main menu, DO NOT SKIP options on the second menu except for root if you don't wanna be rooted. IOW, if you "make assumptions" about what you "think" you need on the second page and get yourself into a situation where "it doesn't work" well, I'll laugh. I may still help, but, I'm going to mock you for it first. LOL! Seriously, though, please read the menus. You want the install 232 option.

If you need to FXZ back to 905, you can do that from the main menu, as well. I don't recommend people use the keep data option for that when going to 905 from ICS.

Also, since you're a safestrap user I'll repeat my warning on that. Should be obvious to SS users, but, it hasn't been so here's my spiel. You should switch over to the UNSAFE side and you should uninstall the SS app. You can reinstall it when you're done. Good luck and post any questions/issues you run into.
