905 failed, reverted to stock, failed even harder

905 updated failed probably because I was rooted and had everything uninstalled that I didn't want (stupid, I know). I wouldn't have cared except the update reminds me every 30 minutes to install it. I tried, and it gave a generic failure message.

Tried doing a factory reset from the GUI, kept superuser. Update from 902 failed.
Tried factory reset from the boot menu, still kept super user, update from 902 failed.
Tried installing 905 from the SD card with recovery mode, failed with this message:

    Code:
    assert failed: apply_patch_check("/system/app/BooksPhone.apk", "758ae8e6da11cf58072338065ab406196ac26cb4", "f50a23588051f9e0d8c06f7411016fa9c360e7a6")
    E:Error in /tmp/sideload/package.zip
    (Status 7)
    Installation aborted.
I'm looking for direction on how to remedy the situation, and I appreciate any help.
