.902 root for mac?

I'm new too all this just heads up

is there a 902 root for mac? i haven't been able to find one. i tried using the run_to_root_your_droid3.sh but it would give me a permission denied at the end of stage 2 and then fail and say to try rebooting and retry at the end of stage three. the only other 902 root I've found is motofail which says its just for windows.

also is safestrap or bootstrap safer for a new user?
