    Will this work to bring my phone from 5.9.901(OTA never rooted) down to a root-able system, root it, and then back up?

    It should bring you back to .886 which will let you do a forever root, then put you back on .893.

    This is the link I used; just make sure you download everything it says to and follow it EXACTLY. It worked like a charm for me, but I was coming from the leaked .893, so use at your own risk. I don't see why it wouldn't work for you, though.

    The procedure for 901 is a bit different than for 893. You have to be careful about making a recommendation for something you've never done.

    There's some people says..that they have successfully downgraded their device/s using what's Lakilaulea recomended,But
    johnlgalt was right too!
    Anyways,there's one or more method that you can use from your .901 back to 5.5.893.I'm also on .901 and never been back to downgrade..That's why i can't guarantee you to use any method..so just in case that you've got the right one..mind posting it here?Thanks!

    Should i be using the long version or the 1 click(scripted)? Both achieve the same result correct? and both use 43v3r root it appears?
