Im new and I screwed up. I need help getting back on track

Just got my droid bionic and was following how to root and did successfully however I think i downloaded the wrong rom for maybe a tablet. So I was going to clear it out and start over however my back up did not work and now im stuck with a loading screen. I need get back to either stock or with a functional rom. Plz

Pull the battery and reboot into recovery. Do a wipe of data and cache then try and reflash your backup. Let us know what happens from there.

ok well its stuck on loading screen (honey cone). And if i'm correctly recovering with the power button and up button. NOTHING..... I will keep trying but if there is any other ideas?

So far its going well Thanks. When i Finish I want to try to root and get a cool rom. Anything you recommend?

I like purity myself. They are all good really, just depends on your taste. Liberty is aosp so it's more of a vanilla no blur. The th3ory rom's can be either with or without blur. Got to go with your taste on that. Good luck.

one of the options in r3leasd3d was to root ur phone so that might be done for you. And th3ory Rom is the best in my opinon. Go under bionic hacks > roms > th3ory rom. he has 2. Purity removes all Blur. Shifter is what i reccomened.
