Post Is it possible to flash an older system update through stock recovery?

About a week ago, I flashed the leaked .893 update. It broke root so I restored using the one click method. All is good except that I still cant root even though im back on .886. Im wondering if by installing an older system version like .882 or reflashing .886 would restore the kernel and all that back to actual stock. The only problem im having is finding such an update to download. All ive done is tried googling it. Can anyone help me here?
