    Copyright issues

I'm sure there's a zillion threads on this already, but I haven't found one. I have iTunes agent to bring over my music from iTunes to my droid. The only files that don't switch over are the albums I bought on iTunes and are thus copyrighted. What is the best way to unlock these files?

Even if you transfer your purchased videos to a different computer with iTunes, if that computer is not "Authorized" with your account, it will also not play those files.
TuneBite, as well as other commercial iTunes DRM removal tools run on your "Authorized" computer, and play the file while recording, similar as dubbing VHS tapes or recording a VHS to DVD using a standalone DVD burner.
In my opinion, it is easier to just rent the DVDs and convert them.

If its just albums, you could use a CDRW to burn the songs to an audio CD, and then rip the songs back to your computer. With a CDRW, you could format the disc afterwards and use it again for the next bunch of songs.

iTunes should no longer have DRM on MP3 music files anymore though.

Do I have to do something to the files afer burning the CD? Because I tried adding them to the phone directly and it didn't take. And tehn I tried adding them to iTunes droid folder and it still didn't take.

when you burn the songs (from within iTunes) to a music CD (so that it will play on a normal cd/dvd player) it will basically create unprotected songs from the protected ones. After that, insert the CD, and use either iTunes (change the rip format from AAC to MP3) or Windows Media Player (change the default wma ripping format to MP3) to rip your created music cd into mp3 files again, but this time they will be unprotected.

It is a bit of a work-around, but it works.

Have a look in the iTunes documentation on how to make music cd's from your songs, as well as on how to rip your music cds into your iTunes library in case you run into complications.

    in short:

    1. use iTunes to make music audio cd from your songs/albums
    2. rip created audio cd back to computer into non-DRM format (mp3)
    3. copy newly ripped files to Droid.
