Just got the micro HDMI cable and watched a few of my recordings on my HDTV. Video quality was very poor and looked more like I was watching from a UHF antenna. Anyone else tried this and had the same issue?

Just got the micro HDMI cable and watched a few of my recordings on my HDTV. Video quality was very poor and looked more like I was watching from a UHF antenna. Anyone else tried this and had the same issue?

The problem here is the fact that we all get duped into thinking that 720p means High definition video quality. Truth is that in the case of the Droid X...it only means file size. The glass optics used on the Droid X is very cheap, so the quality of the image will reflect this. Also 720p is really not High Definition. True High definition is 1920x1080 or 1080p.
was on hd setting. picture was real fuzzy. Looked good on the droid but not the tv. Was not expecting 1080p or bluray type quality. The vids i transfered from original droid looked better
we saw video samples several weeks ago from the X. they looked like crap even before the phone was released, as do the camera pictures, so im not surprised
