    Why can't I see my music?

    I transferred a bunch of my music over to the droid, putting it all in a Music directory on my sdcard.

    I then open up my music app and...nothing. It lists no music at all. I can play a song manually via Astro but the media player itself does nothing.

    Any idea what's wrong?

    Reboot the phone. I always have to do a reboot after I load music onto my phone. If that doesn't take care of it then the files are labeled incorrectly. If the music player doesn't like the way they are tagged they will not show up.

    Try downloading an app called "SDrescan".

    It re-scans your SD card (as opposed to a reboot). It helps when you add files to your SD card and they don't show up where they're supposed to.
