Using mp3's as an alarm

    Using mp3's as an alarm

    I was wondering if anyone figured out how to make custom alarms with mp3s. I have tried making a media/audio/alarms folder but it didn't work. Thanks

    Hi

    You can try to use Rings Extended, it enables you to use MP3s as your ringtone,alarm tones and so on

    you need to create a folder on your SD card called "notifications" you can then place your ALARM in that folder and use it as your alarm NOTIFICATION

    I tried the Rings Extended app and it worked great. Haven't tried the doing it with the folders, but sounds like that works as well.

    I tried the folders thing after reading Flomaster's post, it works great....better to go that way IMHO
