Txting question

This is a discussion on Txting question within the Droid Audio / Video forums, part of the Droid Discussions category; So I just got Handcent...How do I deactivate my phone's standing txt app so they don't both respond to received txt msg's? Thanks!...

    Txting question

    So I just got Handcent...How do I deactivate my phone's standing txt app so they don't both respond to received txt msg's?

    open the stock messaging app and hit the menu button and then go to settings. then turn off notifications.
