Droid 2 - Droid SMS Alert
I just got the Droid 2. I am looking for the "droid" sms alert tone. From what I am hearing from people that it is the default ringtone, but it isn't....on my phone.

Go to Settings > Sound > Notification Ringtone.
Is it not listed there as "Droid?"
Sent from my DROID2 using DroidForums App
Common Misconception:
Leaving your GPS on drains battery.
Truth is: GPS is only used when you open an application that requires it. You can leave GPS toggled on at all times.

With your phone in Mass Storage mode, you can put the file under:
Media > Alerts > Notifications

What is Mass Storage mode?

Plug your phone into your computer and pull down the notification tab. Click on the USB thing and select USB Mass Storage mode if it is not already in it.
Then you can access your sdcard's files on your computer.

Awesome thanks. I will have to try it tomorrow. That cord is at work.

The USB cord is the same as your charger. Unless your charger is at work?

You can't remove the usb plugged into the unit in the wall?
So your at-home charger looks like the second picture?
