    Google Maps-"Unable to load URL"

Does anyone know what this means? I get this message displayed at the bottom of my screen every time I launch the maps app. It stays up for a second or two then fades away. Maps and Nav seem to work fine.

    Anyone else? Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance

    Google suggests you try:

Go to Menu > Settings > Manage Applications
Press the menu button > Filter > All
    Select Maps
From this screen tap "Clear cache", "Clear Defaults", and "Force Stop"
Then power off and on, and try re-opening Maps

Thanks for this but when I follow steps, the "clear cache" and "clear defaults" boxes are grayed out. After force stop and reset, maps still displays "Unable to load URL"

    Anyone else ?

same happens here. Both boxes are grayed and cannot do anything. Still have this problem. Don't know what to do. Any new ideas?
