Most likely.
Resistance is futile.

Yes. When I got task killer It did just that, and even though the icon remained on the notification bar, the alarm never went off. My iTouch's last duty was to act as backup in case that happened![]()
Yup. a bunch of stupid extra characters so i can post "Yup."
yeah, i learned this the hard way by showing up late to work/class twice. immediately added to the ignore list haha.![]()
It will if it's checked. Just uncheck what apps you don't want to kill, and they'll stay on.
put the alarm on the ignore list and it will never come up in the kill list again. i too use my droid as an alarm clock and it would be trouble if it didn't work for some reason. i threw it on the ignore list along with the task manager program itself and the anti virus program i have.
you do not need a task killer app!
the android os is meant to support the running of background apps and killing them actually slows the phone down, especially when killing native apps such as messenger or gmail.
believe me i used it when i first started messing around with the droid and heard this claim, i took a look in the android api and one of my buddies showed me why you dont need to kill em...
if found that out the hard way this morning
You can say that until your are blue in the face and I will not believe it. I can tell when my phone starts running slow and I immediately check to see how many apps I have running. Shutting down some ALWAYS helps and puts the phone back to where I am used to it being speed wise.
