    Maybe your system is wrong.

System % is whatever your hardware is saying your battery level is at. This is the same level as shown by all other battery/power apps including the system battery icon at the top.

Estimated % is what Battery Left thinks is left on your battery based on various algorithms and readings it has taken.

In essence System % is the power left in the battery, Estimated % is the time left on the battery.

Why would you expect them (or even want them) to be the same?

The system always returns the amount of power left in your battery. Batteries do not discharge linearly - ie it'll take a different amount of time to drop from, say 100% to 90% than it will from 20% to 10% even with exactly the same load.

The estimated % tries to estimate the battery time left linearly and flatten the curve. In your case it reckons that although you have 80% power left, only 65% of the time is left.

Mines been off too since the update. But two things.....one is if you didn't remove the widget and reapply it do that. On top of that in this latest release it says to let the widget run all the way down to zero % and then give a full 100% charge. That is a new way to calibrate it I guess.

New version in the market. No need to recalibrate.

Now shows system or estimated % in status bar and some better calibration code for Seidio batteries.

    Enjoy!

Unfortunately it looks like I am going to be giving up on this app. I have tried reinstalling/recalibrating at least 4 times to prevent it from showing a negative percent or sitting empty at zero with actual battery left. I usually charge my battery every other night once its almost dead. At first the app gives a good estimate, but after a week or two of use its always very low compared to the system and runs out before the battery actually does. I understand the estimate isn't perfect (nor were my calibrations) but I guess my phone/battery use is too inconsistent to predict. I still give credit to the developer, and I guess its better the app gives me an under estimate rather than an over estimate.

Here's what don't get: why people give up when the app has so many customizations. It can be easily configured to reprt all the system percentages, so it can easily be just another battery widget too. To each his own I guess. Sorry it isn't working for you. I haven't had that problem. I have seen it run out of juice and sit at zero, but it updates eventually.

I've really liked the updates, especially the notification bar, however, I was wondering if there was any way you would be able to make it so that we can turn off the notification icon itself. I like as little clutter as possible, so it'd be great if that were possible.
