    Lightbulb App that will move other apps to the SD-Card

    Inquiry: Does anyone know of an App that will move other apps to the SD-Card in Android 2.2 - Froyo.
    Has anyone created such an App? Is anyone working on such an App?
    Please consider doing so, as the only alternative is to work with “SDK”
    I am quite sure that a VERY large percentage of people would want such an application, when they “finally” get 2.2 – FROYO.

    im sure forcing an app to the SD card when its not designed to be moved to the SD card will cause many many issues. You will just have to wait for developers to update their apps to be moved to the SD card, thats IF they want their apps to be moved at all.

    "SD Move" not as nice looking but provides more information than "app 2 SD" about the apps to be moved (color coded). Tells you apps that could be moved but suggested not to.

    Thumbs up Thank you to all

    Have D/L both "SD-Move" & "App2SD".
    Both work Great, and I recommend either to anyone.

    "SD-Move" shows what actions are allowed and/or recommended
    where-as
    "App2SD" only shows what can/should be moved

    If you are rooted and in Froyo... just type this in terminal

    su
    pm setIntallLocation 2

    Then just go to your application and move them to SD!

    I have the original Moto Droid running 2.2

    After the 2.2 update, there were a few programs that I could move over to the SD card but not many. Will one of these apps let you move others or are they pretty much a duplicate of the new application features that come with 2.2??
