    I am giving it a shot..
    funny....it opens up like the FENNEC, where it has no information on it.
    No option to INSTALL.
    are you guys sure that this Launcher is for the 2.1 users or for the 2.2 OS?
    does anyone know for sure?
    I installed to PC > Droid > opening via ASTRO.
    and i see no Install selection.

    Won't install (parsing issue).

    Tried to copy it into /system/app and doesn't show up when pressing Home.

    Same for /data/app.

    Just have to wait for it to be resigned I guess.
    Loving my Droid X. Previous phones: Eris, Droid1, BB Storm, BB Curve 8330, LG Dare, LG Chocolate 1 & 2, and lots of other LG dumbphones...

    It's not signed for 2.1. Only 2.2. They have to resign it, and then it MIGHT work. But no promises.

    If you know how to do xml edits, edit the following entries in the file AndroidManifest.xml

    android:minSdkVersion="8" Change 8 to 3
    android:targetSdkVersion="8" Change 8 to 4

    This lets you install the apk on android 1.5 and higher

    I'll try and do this edit later and see if it works, not on my home computer atm.

    PS: This might not work at all if this new launcher calls any of the new framework methods in 2.2
