Helix Launcher now available on Android Market

HelixLauncher - (for devices running 2.1) Very nice launcher app developed over at XDA Developers. Much like Home++ but very fast and stable. Features include:
-3 to 7 screens (swipe scrolling between pages)
-launcher bar at bottom for 4 user defined apps links (just drag and drop)
-double tap for screens preview
-enabled rotation

I've had it for a day or two (I've had the off-the-market apk for several days) and it hasn't lagged much if at all and has not crashed. And yes, the most recent version supports bettercut.

helix launcher is amazing and super stable. i was an early donator so i get access to 1.2 already

I tried it, but I hate how it doesn't have an option for what Home++ calls "workspace looping". GDE also has the workspace looping depending on which desktop transition you choose.

Right now I prefer GDE.

Just installed, loving the extra space on the bottom... some things I notice off the bat

- after you bring up the app drawer, you have to press the soft back key to bring it down... theres no drawer handle.
- Landscape mode switches fine.
- Live wallpapers work and are interactive
- Seems to be very responsive after loading my 5 screens up with widgets
- Bettercut works, but if I change an icon in bettercut and move it to the launcher tray, it switches back to the default icon
- Shortcuts can go in the launcher as well, anything you can drag almost
- I have app organizers and wanted to use those shortcuts in my launcher, but it defaults all the icons to the App Organizer program icon image and isn't too nice looking although they're still functional (i removed them though)

Overall I like it after an hour... I'll be using this for a while to see how it holds up to the test of time

@Jason, I hear you on the looping, but the double tap for screen switcher is pretty responsive too. enough so where I could actually use it.
