    non-root free tether?

    Does it exist? I don't mind using a USB cable... I know there is that tether app in beta but it's $50. Is there a free way to tether without rooting?

    And there is Proxoid. The big plus for me is that it works on Windows, Linux, Mac... You just have to install the SDK and follow the rules to configure your tel as a proxy using the USB keyboard and voilą ! I'm rooted but still using that app, I never managed to connect my comp to the wifi tether app... I don't know why.

    Edit > Oh, and it is free. Even for https. Even after 30 days. And no weird-window-.exe-app to install on your comp, just the SDK.
