    Yeap!

640's right. A prepaid creditcard would be rite way.
That could be used then for anything else as well!

Ie, a Visa Gift Card. Can be purchased just about anywhere. Read a post earlier that someone uses one bought at Wal-Mart. Actually considering doing that myself, that way I have more of a set budget on how many apps I can go willy-nilly and purchase...[Haven't done TOO bad yet, but there's always the urge...]

Make sure you look at the card(s) when you purchase them... Many (if not most) will NOT allow foreign transactions and will decline any apps you try to purchase from oversees developers (and there's several good ones).

On the Visa Gift Cards it will say on the front "For use in USA only" if it is limited, otherwise you should be good. Note: All AmEx gift cards are for US only and will NOT work overseas.
You are right to be wary. There is much bullcrap. Be wary of me too, because I may be wrong. Make up your own mind after you evaluate all the evidence and the logic. - Mark Rippetoe

Another option that will allow overseas purchases is a Paypal debit card. You will need to have a bank account to attach to your paypal account, but then, if you don't want to actually pay for apps from your bank account for some reason, you can buy a green-dot Moneypak at CVS, Wallgreens, Kmart and other places and then transfer the money to your paypal account (Moneypak can be bought in any amount up to $2000 for $4.95, there is a limit on how much you can transfer to Paypal the first time, but once they verify your identity, the limit is removed).

Of course, if you have a bank account, you could just get a debit card, and not go through all this fuss.
