Okay I get all the way to install from sdcard complete It verifys the package installs update roots my phone then install complete.

Ive told you guys I've done these steps like fifteen times, why do you keep asking me this how is that helping you understand? I've COMPLETED THESE STEPS. I can't generalize the fact that I've done that any more than I've done it.

Then I reboot system.

Then I go to run the sholesupdate app, and it halts.

That's as far as I get.

OK, Uninstall it, then reinstall, then try it again, do that and then report back.

Sorry I'm a little pissed ha... I've been up since four for work and flunked a psych test today so I'm a bad mood not trying to be rude with you all..

No, for me it asks me to force close or wait with the updater not saying anything. The screen is black with the notification dock thing still at the top of the screen, the name of the app or whatever and then the box which had dialogue originally is just empty and black

Deput, if this is only 600MHZ i'm very very impressed, I don't see a reason for more really, this thing flies now.

I did that, but uninstalling the app doesnt erase the update.zip or whatever the app installed to my sd card so erasing the app isnt changing files its already written. So reinstalling it keeps all of my forward progress I've made already thus leaving me back at square one of the app freezing when I try to open it and allow it to continue it's root:root do-ma-hicky

yep I went and verified, it is only 600.

for any one tomo who reads this i am going to go step by step what i did its simple since the program does it all. after installing the program it will give you a dialogue box yes to continue. it will download info, then will prompt u to reboot, (power off then back on hold the x button, triangle box, then hold vol up and camera button) click on install update.zip. then click on rebbot option. after it reboots go into the app again and just follow instruction and be prepared to wait. Do fret about the blank screen, its working trust me. Patience is important. I would recommend doing this while playing xbox or something to keep u from spazzing out, because its going to take a while, but IT WORKS.

when you enter reboot recovery (holding x thingy) does it say "SPRecovery version .99.3b' in orange letters at the top? if not, what does it say.

to verify you are rooted, dl drocap2 from the market and see if it works.

Okay that's what it must be then patients. I guess I'm not waiting, it'd be nice if there was a warning saying it was doing something because once I leave sleep mode on my phone it pops up asking me to force close or wait.

800 hadn't been done yet when this rom was made.
