App that roots/OCs/multi-touches and tethers for $5

Well de-rooting my phone turned out to be much easier and quicker than I thought, thanks pilot for that link.
Now that I know that going back to stock is that easy, I'm going to reinstall sholesmod updater to see if that Youtube thing is still there.
It makes me a lot less nervous to tinker around with this app now knowing that going back to stock is a clear easy process.

Found this at alldroid. It should fix your wifi

This will be included in v1.3 but for now, here's your fix.

1. Reboot into recovery.
2. mount system and data, then remove WifiTether.apk from /system/app and the android.tether folder from /data/data (rm -r /data/data/android.tether works for directories that aren't empty)
3. Push the linked WifiTether.apk into /system/app
4. Reboot
5. Open Wifi Tether app and go! (that's right, no need for reboot)

NOTE: EVERYTHING WORKS!!! WEP, Access Control...EVERYTHING!

Same issue here. Youtube starts and updates the list (latest, popular, etc.). As soon as you select a video it switches to landscape, displays the player buttons, waits a few seconds, and then boots the phone.

I did not encounter any issues with the root process nor the installation of the Sholes ROM. Everything else seems to be okay.

Okay so I un-rooted my phone and then rerooted and reinstalled the mod updater, youtube crashed phone after first attempt.
Everything else except for the landscape drawer/wifi tether seems relatively good. But I think we should probably add Youtube issue in the known issues.
