App that roots/OCs/multi-touches and tethers for $5

im playing around with wireless tethering. Have any one figured out how to get it to where your computer see the signal I clicked tether but when I click on available wireless coneections I am not getting the androidtether (the name of the network)

Hey guys, this apparently worked great. Only two issues I have are:

Very slow on-screen KB usage.
Amazon MP3 app disappeared (I did not choose to remove it)

Any ideas?

Look for an option named "remove car dock" and uncheck it. I'm not sure which menu it's on, since it has been a while since I've installed 1.2. You might want to ask the ROM maintainers (Berzerker and trevorj) about these questions, since it doesn't really have to do with the updater apk.

the list includes carhome, amazon, facebook, and some more, the list is in the recovery mode when you run through it again its in blue

Not to sound cheap but did the free version get posted on sholes.info yet? I am trying to figure out if I am just not able to find it or what. I have no problem supporting assuming I like it but it sounds like there are a lot of issues.

Also, what will happen when the 2.1 comes out?

Just run the updater again; it'll send you through the install process again.

I have rarely used car home, but if someone noticed it was gone then obviously someone uses it.

Yes, just uncheck the box to remove car home in the installer. I personally hate the thing; every time I put my phone in the car dock, a useless window pops up over what I'm doing.

I have to tell you thanks for the support and coming here. I think you'll find alot of people here really like this app and option. Great Job!

Noticed a little extra bugginess when it comes to landscape mode in 2.1 in conjunction with opening and closing the slider. Opening and closing the slider to switch display orientation sometimes freezes the display somewhat, in that you can't switch between the 5 homescreens - it gets locked onto the first main screen. I can still choose apps on that screen I just can't slide over to an adjacent one. However, the phone is not frozen, pressing the home button and re-launching (I have not default set this) will unfreeze this.
Fairly minor but worth mentioning.

I am as cheap as they come especially with apps, its worth the 5 bucks just for the back up and not having to type all them commands. So far the issues were minor and were correctable. Car home amazon apps those are the stock apps that it gives you the option to delete. Lagginess was corrected with a power down.

It kept doing that this morning when i did a reset it fixed it.
