02-03-2010 02:30 PMIf you use adb shell from a windows computer, your $PS1 will be set with colors, which dont show up in the Windows terminal emulator. It's not a big deal.

for those at the step of choosing package to install look at the menu and pay attention. Because it gives you option to install car home or not, facebook was onthere, and amazon. I wish i had the full list, but if you dont check (ie car home) then car home will not be installed

02-03-2010 02:34 PMthanks Camel. I'm new to all this rooting stuff and i don't see myself doing anything that can't be done with an app! BTW, i installed and rooted with phone charging on computer. It took about 15 minutes. Didn't have to wait with a black screen or really wait at all except for the actual installing of the programs...
