App that roots/OCs/multi-touches and tethers for $5

Ima go through the instructions from square 1)


1) install the app from market
2) allow it to install data
3) its going to ask you to go into recovery mode (power down, hold x while turning on power, you will get /!\, hold volume up and camera button, use directional pad to insatll sd card update zip, reboot)
4) after it reboots go back into app and follow instruction.
5) Wait, miami suggested check the box so you do not have to keep clicking allow (its up to you) but do something.......read, work, tv, movie, xbox, go to mc d's....something to keep u from going crazy starring at the screen
6) click 1.2 rom when prompted, click flash
7) it will reboot and ask you to wipe or save data, save data
8) after it does its thing and reboot again be prepared to wait some more.
9) it will prompt to flash rom again (thats ok its not corrupted) click flash again
10) wait just a little more then you will have it

for those who installed this successfully if i missed something let the thread know

Bought and dl the app. Ran it. Rebooted. nothing happened. opened it again.it asked for permission to root. then black screen and at top it says sholesmod updater and nothing seems to be happening. Are there any instructions anywhere that I can look at?

Press the home button on your phone, then go back to the app from the app drawer.

I did that and then it asked for permission to root. I said yes. then back screen and at top in notification window it says sholesmod updater.
does that sound right?

There is also a step I guess you could call it. One of the times that I tried to download it, there was a screen that popped up and asked me permission, once you click remember and allow, shut the program off and open the program up and it finished installing everything.
I'm very new and I had issues also. I just know that is what caused my problem. Hope it helps someone.

Thank you for the steps. I'm currently on step four, waiting for the phone to go to a menu. basically the droid, the droid eye, all that came up. Now I'm facing a black screen. Assuming this is the point where everyone waiting 20-odd minutes, correct?

correct, I had to do the same thing after it rebooted from rooting i had to go back into the app. I did have 5 fc (but 3 of them because i kept mashing buttons spazzing out over the blank screen). I know ur feeling, you phone will not get bricked. I know the fear I had it. Page 3-6 on this post was of me spazzing lol.
