Ambiant Temperature App?

Its there a thermometer in the Droid a developer can make use of for a room or vicinity temperature readout?

the droid does contain a AK8973 temperature sensor but using it for external temperature readings will be very inaccurate

correct me if im wrong anyone

edit: by the way you should be able to enumerate the sensors by yourself

That makes sense to me. If you're using your phone quite heavily, the internal battery temp gets pretty toasty as is noticeable outside the phone, so it seems to me that it'd mess with a reading of temp outside the phone shell...

I could be way off, but I don't think I am...
