any app recommendations for a good calander with notifications?

I have a BAD memory lately. I am very busy and can't keep things straight. HELP!!

I need to be able to put things on a calendar and set it to alert me via text, when I have an event or something I have to remember to do on a certain day. I don't need it to be elaborate, just simple with reminders. I often get a text from someone with something I need to do, and I have to save/lock the text and remember to go back and look to see what it was... too many texts saved and to do ones I send to myself. I just need it all in one place.

I do not use Google calendar but I think it will sync to the phone. Is that my best bet since I am on the phone or computer 24/7?

Any ideas?? I you for the help!!

I use cozio, free and your whole family can use it. I have it on my phone, wife's, kid's and home computers. When someone changes or adds it updates all of them. It even has a to do list and shopping list. Go check out their website, www.cozio.com it even color codes each family member for each event.

I love Business Calendar from the Market. Tried the free version for a day and had to have paid version. Syncs seamlessly with Google Calendar. Super easy to add new events in a few seconds via a widget. Widget is configurable to show as month view or agenda view. Developer seems responsive to suggestions/bugs as well.

I use Business Calendar also and love it. Makes my life so much easier. Syncs with Google and I can let my wife see any or all my calendars on her iPhone.

I'll second Business Calendar. Got it for free from either Amazon or Getjar, I forgot which.
