    Google voice

    I want to use google voice and text but i also want to continue to use my VZW number for voice and text, can they be used simultaneously?

    Use GV to replace the VZW voicemail and set it to send texts and visual voicemail to your gmail account.

    Works great, but if I didn't have unlimited data I would port my VZW number to GV, that way no issues getting people to text and/or call your GV number.

    You can also have GV sync with stock messaging app. This lets you receive messages like normak but still be able to use a tab or computer instead.
