    Weather no longer in notification bar

    I need some help - I downloaded The Weather Channel app from the market and had it all installed and running nicely...the temp/alert icon would show up in my notification bar (and not take up any icon space). So then I try the weather widget and now the small icon no longer shows in my notification bar, even after throwing the widget into the trash.

    Has anyone experienced this and if so, are there any fixes?

    Try uninstall and reinstall. Or a reboot.

    Click on the default weather app and it should come back

    Thanks - I just did what any "intelligent" person should have done before posting the question...I read the instructions...

    If you set a location as "home location", it pops up in the notification bar.

    Sorry to bug the forum for help I could've easily found had I read the instructions.
