Right now I usually use vznavigator but I use other navigators as well.

the base app is free, but each voice costs $2.99
it's vastly superior to PicoTTS and eSpeak in voice quality (i can actually understand it), but it takes up 12MB of your sdcard because out uses some form of vocalmod tech.
I've been using the British English Victoria voice for a few months now.
they don't have any celebrity voices though, unfortunately. I'm sure Darth Vader would be popular -
