Droid Backup

    Droid Backup

    FutureDial Suite Smartphone Edition

    Has anyone heard of the futuredial smartphone edition? I am considering buying it. Can I have some advise?

    Don't waste your money.

    3 Apps:
    -Call Logs Backup & Restore
    -SMS Backup & Restore
    -ASTRO File Manager (backs up all your Apps)

    Email, Contacts and Calendar are synced with Google, so no need to back those up.

    And you're done. All free of charge.

    Slightly off topic, but in using Astro to back up apps, is there any way to determine just how much memory the backup (to the SD) will consume on the card?

    Don't want to eat up too much memory, and also thought that Google stored the download information for reinstallation. . . I am sure I am missing something, but am glad that Astro can back up apps, for sure.
