Passdroid.

It requires no permissions, has no ads (obviously), & allows you to export/import if you need to wipe.

for an app i use to store financial info, passwords, account info, i really wouldn't go with a free app unless i've verified it's bulletproof or very hard to crack the data file.

i use splashid because ascendo datavault is what i used with blackberry and they don't offer an android version, so splashid is the closest thing.
