a simple question re email

my first droid question - and i've answered a few for myself already like finding companion link to sync my outlook - so be gentle with me.

i use aol (yes, i know...but it suits me). am i forced to use gmail on this phone or is there/will there be an aol application for email?

just trying to get all my virtual ducks in a row for next week.

Sort of same thoughts for me, minus the aol though. I own my own sites and mail servers so really dont need additional gmail addys, just want to get my own pop3.
