Droid 1/2 Extended Battery

I ordered mine on thursday online, but my order never showed up in their system because I ordered it online and not with a rep. They could not see th order in their system so I could not cancel my order. I would give them a call and see, but you may have to wait or just buy another one and return the mail ordered one. I get mine tomorrow.

Hmm. Damn. Yeah had I ordered mine earlier I would have mine tomorrow too. They don't process/ship saturdays do they? I ordered mine friday night with overnight shipping but it said only if it was m-f at a certain time.

I purchased the droid 2 extended battery for my droid 2 yesterday. Today will be my first test day to see if I get some better performance. The battery does come with a new door and its the bluish black color of the droid 2.

This is good news for us droid 1 / 2 owners (esp my droid 1 hehe). About time we got a real extended battery that doesn't make the phone look like a 5100 series nokia. A shame it took moto this long to produce this. I'll be buying it myself, I was just waiting to make absolutely sure that the battery and cover fits.

I was reading through the droid x thread about this extended battery that started it all. The reports from them is that the stock battery cover fits with a little force, is this impossible for the droid 1/2? Don't really care, looks will take a backseat always vs. performance for me, if i have to live with a blue battery cover for my droid 1 so be it. If anyone can post some pics of the battery / door from the side that would be amazing. Please and thank you

EDITing: Does the droid 2 really have a 49% increased battery life over the droid 1 (both stock batts)?

picked mine up a couple hrs ago for my droid and i like the way the door fits and it actually feels better in my hand...well see on battery life but so far its looking pretty good......thank u for everyone that posted on this for finding it......i didnt like the other extended batt with the big doors, this is perfect.....

no cause the battery is a tad thicker than the stock one....the door came with the battery it was 52.99 out the door......

I picked up the battery today for my Droid 1. Cant really comment on the battery life just yet. I can say that I really like the battery door though. I like the way it feels and really isn't very noticeable.

I tried to force the old battery cover on but it just wont quite fit.
